3. Member Status
There are two types of
status every Rogue Cell member carries; Full and
Probationary. Team Rank and Member Status are
independent in nature; that is, one is not affected by
the other. A Team Member can hold a high rank, yet
still be on Probationary status. The status types are
defined below:
A. Probationary Member: a Team
Member that has officially joined the team and played
their first game as a Rogue Trooper, yet has not
completed six months of membership or purchased a
uniform. Probationary Members are not allowed to vote
on team matters. During probation, team membership can
be revoked at the sole discretion of the Team
Commander.
B. Full Member: a Team Member that
has completed six months of membership, played in at
least three official team events, and has
purchased a uniform. Full Members are allowed to vote
on matters of team importance. After achieving Full
Member status, team membership can only be revoked by a
majority vote.
C. Honorary Member: a Team Member
that has been honorably released from the roster,
yet wishes to play with the team on a part-time basis,
or a friend/family member of a Team Member that
can only occaisionally attend events. Honorary
members cannot be members of other paintball teams.
Team Membership can only be maintained by attending
five official events per calendar year. Should a team
member fail to attend the required amount of games,
membership will be revoked.
4. Discharge of Membership
Any Full Member
can move to discharge any other Team Member. If the
Team Member holds Full Member status, discharge can
only be approved by a majority vote. Should the Team
Meber in question hold Probationary Status, only the
Team Commander's approval is required. There are two
types of discharge.
A. Honorable: should a Team Member
voluntarily discontinue membership while in good
standing with Rogue Cell, the discharge is considered
Honorable. Future membership shall be allowed.
B. Dishonorable: should an
individual's membership be revoked for punitive
reasons, the discharge shall be considered Dishonorable
ad future membership will be impossible.
Article III: Recruiting
All Rogue Cell Members are enlisted on an
invitational basis. Only the Team Commaner can
officially invite an individual to join the team,
however all Rogue Cell Members are considered
recruiters and can suggest or identify potential Rogue
Prospects. If an individual is offered an official
invitation by the Team Commander, he/she must accept by
following all proper channels dictated by the Team
Commander. Any deviation from the channels provided by
the Team Commander will be considered an invalid
acceptance and disregarded. Upon acceptance of an
invitation from the Team Commander, the Prospect must
complete one official team event before gaining
Probationary status and assigned to a fire team as a
Rogue Trooper.
Article IV: Events
Events are classified as official
and unofficial.
A. Official events are any
scenarios that are declared on the Upcoming Schedule.
Team Members should, but are not required
to, attend all official events. Official events
are counted toward individual membership
requirements.
B. Unofficial events are any event
not posted on the schedule; i.e. open days,
non-scheduled scenarios, outlaw games, etc. Unofficial
events do not count toward individual membership
requirements. Team members are not required to attend
unofficial events, but may do so only if it
does not conflict with an official event.
Scheduling official events is the responsibility of
the Team Commander only. The Team Commander will
attempt to schedule at least one official event per
month, or twelve events per year.
Training Camp is an official event and will be
scheduled annually. All Rogue Cell members are required
to attend, barring personal hardship.
Article V: Rules & Regulations
Strength &
Honor! Rogue Cell aheres to a strict code of
conduct, on and off the field of play. This code of
coduct, rule set, and charter will be read by every
Prospect and obeyed by Team Members. Should any of the
rules or code of conduct be broken by a Team Member
during an event (any paintball game or practice), it
will result in a written warning that will be signed
and acknowledged by the offending player. Severity of
the offense could be cause for immediate dismissal.
Should a second occurence of the same offense take
place, a second written and acknowledged warning will
be issued and filed. On the third same offense, the
player will be put to a Discharge Vote.
All house rules of the field being played upon shall
be treated the same as Rogue Cell regulations.
Violations of field rules will be treated as violations
of the Rogue Cell Charter and regulations. Multiple
field rule violations made, no matter the location of
the field, shall be treated as subsequent and
repetitive violations and held to the 3 Strike
Policy.
All Rogue Cell members are required to attend
the safety/game briefings that are customary before
each event, no matter the skill level of the player or
how oten the field is visited. Listen attentively, even
though most of the rules are the same from field to
field. These actions display respect and
professionalism. Lead by example, Rogues. As we grow in
size and reputation, we become moe visible and are held
to higher standard. That's what seperates us from the
rest of the pack. Strength
& Honor!
